Why I Decided to Put My Art Up for Sale
I’ve always seen myself as a storyteller first and foremost. Whether through writing, voice acting, or art, it’s the stories that drive me, that compel me to create. But if I’m being honest, when it comes to drawing and painting, I’ve never really felt like a professional artist. I’m mostly self-taught, and digital painting has been a game changer for me. It’s forgiving in ways traditional mediums aren’t, offering me the freedom to experiment and learn as I go without the fear of ruining a piece forever.
So, when I decided to put my art up for sale, it wasn’t because I thought my work was anything special. I know there are incredible artists out there, far more talented and polished than I am, who are trying to make a living off their art. What I do doesn’t compare, and I’m not pretending that it does.
But here’s the thing: I’m primarily a storyteller. That’s where my heart lies. I’m currently a voice actor by trade, but with AI slowly phasing out that work, I’m finding myself more and more drawn to the stories I can create on my own terms. I said goodbye to acting for the camera a long time ago because I fell in love with writing. To me, it’s the purest form of storytelling, where I have complete control over the narrative and can share the worlds I create directly with others.
My art is just another way to fuel those stories. It’s an extension of the worlds and characters I’m so passionate about. And while I’m not a fan of just setting up a donation page—which I’ve done before—I thought putting my art up for sale on my site would be a nice way for people to get something tangible in return for their support. Some people argue that they’ve already gotten a decent story out of me, and that’s why they’ve offered to leave a tip. And while I appreciate that more than I can say, I also feel like I have these things to offer, and I’d like to offer them.
I hope my art brings joy to those who see it, just as much as my stories do. At the end of the day, that’s all I want—to share the stories in my head, whether through words or images, and to connect with people who love them as much as I do.

Your stories are so lovely, and they bring so much joy! Your art is also one of a kind. No matter how much AI tries I truly believe it will never recreate the soul that real artwork brings. You’re a triple threat, my friend and I thank you for all the passion you put into your work. 🥰
